Chance
When Jessica started the 3yr old blanket appaloosa gelding, he kicked out at the handy stick, jumped at any fast movement, and would run away from any loud noise or scary object. Today, after only a month, Chance has completed the groundwork series and has been started under-saddle. He is a quick learner and an easy mover, his tall and athletic build is going to make him a wonderful high performance horse. While this guy is still a little unsure of himself on the ground he is a different horse undersaddle. He walks out very confident and we haven't found anything yet on the trails that scares him. He'll cross water, ditches, walk through a herd of cattle, and not look twice at any vehicle or farm equipment.
Sugar
4 year old Palomino Quarter horse Mare. This mare wasn't halter broke when Jessica started her, but in the course of just a few days she leads nicely, lounges on a loose line and stands tied well. This mare is beautiful with all her chrome and seems to have the brains to go with all the beauty. Once her groundwork once finished she excelled under saddle, never bucking or giving any hassle, and was quickly out blazing the trails.
Candy
6 year old Paint mare. When Jessica was called out to look at these horses for an assessment the lady informed us that the mare had been ridden once and had bucked the guy off; leaving him with fractures in his face and multiple broken ribs. We've completed the necessary groundwork and have since had a few successful, buckless, rides on this mare. Other than being flighty to loud noises, this mare has a great disposition and is very smart.

Jake
3 year old Appaloosa X Quarter Horse gelding. This gelding has color and brains! Smart and gentle, this guy has been a pleasure to work with thus far. His groundwork was completed when he arrived so we've been working hard to make this guy a good mount for his owners Tammy and Gareth, as well as their grandchildren. He'll be used for trail riding, as well as moving cattle on their ranch.

Snickers
This 5 yr old quarter horse mare has come a long way since we first started only two short months ago. She moved through the groundwork series with ease, had been saddled only once prior to the work Jessica has done with her. She was accepting of the saddle and quickly took to being ridden, with the exception of being a little jumpy. She had settled right down and loves to work. This gal has naturally quick movements and will be great once she starts her career in working cattle.
Joy
Joy is a 4/5yr old QH mare. Jessica also started this gal on the 14th of April, owned by the same couple as Jake, Shimmer, and Summer. Joy needs a few rides to get her calm and quiet, and less spooky on the trail.
Training with joy had to discontinue after she sustained an injury to her hind leg. She took a long time to heal but should be back to being ridden by her owners soon.

Wes- Bay Gelding
3 year old dark bay quarter horse gelding, brought in today, February 18th, by his owner Cj Clark. This handsome fellow will be undergoing some "Touch up" work and will soon be off in the Western Pleasure show ring.We are working on softening him to leg cues as well as slowing his pace, this guy has had a great start and just needs to be finished. He has got great gaits and is a pleasure to work with.
Wes was sold to a woman that plans to continue his training in Western Pleasure and will soon be showing him!

Jake
Jake is a 4/5yr old QH gelding. Jessica started working this big guy on April 14th, his owner starting him off wonderfully; sending him to the Amish so he learned to pull a buggy. This guy mostly needs rides undersaddle and a confidence boost.
Jake has made leaps and bounds in his confidence out on the trail, he's a sure footed, reliable mount, and we have fun gathering cows!

Summer
Summer is a 4/5yr old QH mare. With western pleasure bloodlines on the top and bottom of her pedigree it's no wonder that this mare was a dream on Jessica's first day riding her. This mare needs to be desensitized so her owner can take her down the trail and not have to worry about her spooking.
Summer has been given to one of Joyce's granddaughters who rides her every chance she gets! This mare sure is special to that little girl.

Shimmer
Shimmer is a 4/5yr old Paint mare. Jessica is working her in hopes of having her kid safe so that her owner's grandchildren can ride her down the trail or in a competition.
Shimmer was leased out to an Amish family and is now a quiet ride for one of Joyce's granddaughters who just loves this little pony to death.

Sis
Sis is a 5 year old Bay Roan Quarter Horse mare, she was broke over two years ago, rode for a few months then put in a pasture where she's been for the last year. She has had a beautiful start but now is a little spooky from lack of work. This gorgeous girl has tons of potential and will make a wonderful mount for her current owner or a future one.
Cheyenne- Red Dun Mare
Unnamed 4 year old red dun quarter horse mare, whom we've been calling "big mama", has been in training with Jessica since July 19th. In the little under two months that she has been in our training program, she has gained confidence on the ground through Clinton Anderson ground work methods, been saddle broke and accepting of a rider. This mare has never given anything but her all, she now neck reins, stops, backs, side passes, disengages her hind quarters, crosses water, walks right up on the stage in our town, and confronts everything "scary" with a brave face.Sad to see such a wonderful horse go, but her owner will be pleased to see that he has a completely different horse than the one he dropped off.
